Q: What is Forest Of Screams?
A: Forest Of Screams is Ohio’s premier Haunted Scream Park! Forest Of Screams features, three spectacular haunted attractions. As you Journey, along a 1 mile haunted hayride through the deep and dark woods of 58 acres in Medina County you can’t even imagine what’s waiting for you inside these words. You then will enter Night Stalker’s Trail, a quarter mile long haunted walking trail that takes you deep into the woods with elaborate sets scenes and displays. You then enter the Mortuary Haunted House a funeral home for many years, but the caretaker has other plans for you. Then join us by the blazing bon-fire to keep warm with a refreshment from one of our food stands. Forest Of Screams is the most terrifying and exciting Halloween experience you will have this season.


Q: Is FOS open rain or shine?
A: Our wagons are covered, Night Stalkers Trail is not, the haunted house is rain proof. We try to be an all weather attraction but this is Ohio, and we can close due to bad weather at any time, we will post a notice as soon as possible. We will operate during light to moderate rain. Always check our face book page first. This is mostly an outdoor event you must dress accordingly to the weather, you will be out in the elements. Proper shoes are a must! NO Flip Flops, high heels, or Sandals!


Q: Do you charge for parking?
A: No, Never as long as you take your trash with you!


Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, We accept Visa, Mastercard, & Discover with a valid Photo ID. We do not accept checks!


Q: Is there an age limit?
A: You as the parent must make the judgement call, if you wouldn’t take your child to a scary movie then you probably shouldn’t bring them to FOS. Carrying babies or children through the attractions is not allowed.


Q: Can I Work at FOS?
A: We hire for the following positions: Performers, Make-up artists, concession, gift shop, and parking. You must be 18 or older to work for FOS. All positions are available during Sept. and Oct. Our season schedule is posted on the web page. Inquire through forestofscreamsemployment@yahoo.com


Q: Will the monsters touch me?
A: Performers will not touch you! Please reciprocate this same courtesy and refrain from touching, grabbing, or hitting any of our actors in or on any of our attractions. FOS strictly enforces a zero tolerance policy for violence against our performers/actors.


Q: What should I wear?
A: You will be coming to the forest, so dress appropriately. This is an outdoor event you must dress accordingly to the weather, you will be out in the elements! Closed toe shoes are required or rugged shoes as you may be walking over rough, uneven ground. No Sandals, high heels, or flip-flops allowed.


Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: SORRY THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS, ALL TICKETS CAN BE USED IN THE CURRENT SEASON ANY DAY WE ARE OPEN. It is a Haunted attraction, if you are scared we did our job. Thank you! All sales are final!


Q: Are there prices for children?
A: No, the attractions are not recommended for children, so we do NOT offer children prices.  Children are the same price as an adult ticket.


Q: Do you have public restrooms?
A: Yes!


Q: Is there security on property?
A: Yes-always!


Q: Can I wear a costume or a mask?
A: NO, you don’t want our actors to mistake you for one of them!


Q: Are pets permitted?
A: Pets are not permitted, Please leave them at home! Service dogs only!


Q: Are there smoke/fog and strobe lights used in the attractions?
A: Yes


Q: Does FOS have concessions available?
A: Yes, we offer a variety of concessions including; hot chocolate, coffee’s, soft drinks, hot dogs, pizza, nacho’s, soft pretzel’s, & candy.


Q: Can I go if I am Pregnant?
A: It is not recommended but it depends on how you feel. You should consult your physician before visiting the attractions.


Q: Is there alcoholic beverages sold at FOS?
A: NO, we don’t sale or allow alcohol or people under the influence to attend our attractions!


Q: Are there discounts for young children?
A: No, everyone at Forest Of Screams pays the same price as everyone is scared the same.


Q: Are the attractions handicap accessible?
A: Forest Of Screams is an outdoor event, the parking lot, the walking paths, the q lines, and Night Stalker’s trail are all thick gravel, only recommended if you have an all-terrain wheelchair or transport device that can navigate rough terrain. For safety reasons we do need everyone to sit down completely on the hayride wagon, and be able to get on and off the hayride wagon, which involves at least four steps on & off on your own power.


Q: I lost my cell phone, jewelry, ticket, wallet, keys etc. in one of your attractions. Can you help me find it?
A: We are not responsible for any personal items that are lost, or broken while inside our attractions. If you bring personal items, please leave them in your car or make sure they are securely in your pockets at all times. We may or may not be able to search for lost items right away, and many items may not be found until the next day when it’s light out. If you think you have dropped an item in one of our attractions, please email us at forestofscreams@yahoo.com. Please include as many details as possible including your contact information so we can let you know if the item has been found. Dropped cell phones, and other items are often trampled by other customers or run over by a wagon or tractor tire due to the dark environment. If still at the event, do not attempt to re-enter the attraction to look for these items on your own, as you will be removed from the property by security. Go to our merchandise shed and inform the employee there what you have lost and they will assist.
